Rules of the New Contest


 "Buy, Drive, and Win Your Purchase!"

  1. Eligibility
     This contest is open only to residents of Quebec and is governed by the laws of this province.
  2. Contest Organizer
     ALBI le Géant is the organizer of this contest.
  3. Prize
     The contest offers participants a chance to win the value of a vehicle purchase that has already been made, provided they agree to comply with the rules and conditions outlined in these terms.

One (1) prize will be drawn as follows:

One (1) winner will be selected by the independent accounting firm Mallette Inc. from participants who purchased a new or used Mazda MX-30, Nissan LEAF, or Mazda MX-5 vehicle between November 1, 2024, and January 31, 2025, in accordance with the rules of this contest.

The winner will receive the value of their vehicle purchase.

Exclusions: The following models are specifically excluded from this contest: Mazda MX-30 EV 2024, Mazda MX-30 EV 2025, Nissan LEAF EV 2024, Nissan LEAF EV 2025, Mazda MX-5 2024, and Mazda MX-5 2025.

  1. Participation Conditions

4.1 Only customers who have purchased one of the following vehicles between 8:00 AM on November 1, 2024, and 9:30 PM on January 31, 2025, at one of the participating ALBI le Géant dealerships can participate in the contest:

  • New 2023 Mazda MX-30
  • Used 2022 and 2023 Mazda MX-30
  • Used Nissan LEAF
  • New 2023 Mazda MX-5
  • Used Mazda MX-5

Exclusions: The following models are specifically excluded from this contest: Mazda MX-30 2024, Mazda MX-30 2025, Nissan LEAF 2024, Nissan LEAF 2025, Mazda MX-5 2024, and Mazda MX-5 2025. Therefore, purchasing any of these 2024 or 2025 models does not grant eligibility to participate.

The contest is only for vehicles in inventory at participating dealerships, while stocks last.

Additionally, lease-to-own transactions at the end of the lease term are specifically excluded for all models and years and do not provide eligibility for the contest.

Finally, to avoid any ambiguity, vehicles purchased before November 1, 2024, with delivery after this date, are specifically excluded from the contest and do not grant participation rights.

Purchases made by January 31, 2025, with delivery by February 5, 2025, are eligible for the contest.

4.2 The participating ALBI le Géant dealerships are:

4.3 Participation in this contest implies irrevocable and unconditional acceptance of these rules and conditions. Non-compliance with any of the participation conditions or any other provision of these rules will invalidate the participant's entry.

  1. Winner Selection
     The independent accounting firm Mallette Inc. will conduct a random draw from all participants who purchased a new or used vehicle from the models outlined in these rules. The draw will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM during a live video event on Facebook via the ALBI le Géant page. The event will be held at the ALBI Mazda Mascouche dealership, 3550 Avenue de la Gare, Mascouche. All participants will receive an invitation to this event upon vehicle delivery, and an email may also be sent to them.
  2. Prize Awarding

6.1 By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to cooperate and provide full collaboration to allow the organizer to promote the event and/or contest for promotional, advertising, and media purposes, as per Article 7 of these rules.

6.2 If the winner is not present at the event, the organizer will make reasonable efforts to contact them, and only the winner will be contacted to claim the prize. The organizer will attempt to contact the winner at least three (3) times within seven (7) business days following the draw. If the winner cannot be reached after seven (7) days, a new draw will be held by the independent firm Mallette Inc. to select a new winner. The organizer is not responsible for the inability to contact the winner.

6.3 The prize amount will be paid directly by the organizer to the winner's vehicle financing creditor, and the amount will not exceed the vehicle's sale price, minus applicable government electric vehicle rebates.

6.4 The vehicle sale price includes all taxes paid by the winner at the time of purchase, including GST and QST, as well as excise tax and tire taxes, if applicable. Taxes related to accessories, aesthetic products, financial products, or any other additions to the vehicle purchase contract, as well as negative equity related to a trade-in vehicle, are excluded and remain the sole responsibility of the winner.

Also excluded from the sale price are financing interest, administrative fees, RDPRM fees, the cost of any accessories, aesthetic products, financial products, or other items added by the customer at the time of purchase, negative equity on the trade-in vehicle, as well as registration fees and government electric vehicle rebates.

Any amount not included in the vehicle's sale price as described in these rules is expressly excluded and remains the responsibility of the winner.

6.5 Under no circumstances may the winner retain a credit related to the sale price of the vehicle and continue making payments to receive a cash sum representing the vehicle's sale price. No payment will be made directly to the winner. If the winner does not comply with this essential condition, they will no longer be eligible for the prize, and a new draw will be conducted among other participants to determine a new winner, subject to the same rules.

6.6 The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for another prize, vehicle, or cash, except as outlined in these rules. A winner's refusal to accept the prize according to the terms of these rules releases the organizer from any further obligation regarding the prize. Any participant found violating these rules may be disqualified at the organizer's sole discretion.

  1. Consent for Promotional, Advertising, and Media Purposes
     By participating in the contest, the participant authorizes the use of their image or video in whole or in part, individually or combined with others, across all present or future social media platforms of ALBI le Géant, its dealerships, and representatives for promotional, advertising, and media purposes.

The participant waives any rights to approval or notice regarding the use of these images by ALBI le Géant. The participant releases and holds ALBI le Géant harmless from any claims or liabilities related to the use of these images, including any alterations or uses in compositions.

Additionally, the participant waives any right to privacy concerning their personal information and any compensation related to the use of their name, including rights to a written copy from the production, modification, and promotion of a photo or video.

  1. General Conditions
     If any provision of these rules is deemed unenforceable, illegal, or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  2. Protection of Personal Information
     All confidential information collected from participants for the purposes of the contest will be handled in accordance with applicable federal and provincial privacy laws, solely for the purpose of administering the contest. Only the participants' first and last names will be provided to the independent accounting firm Mallette Inc. for the draw, and these details will be fully destroyed within 30 days of the draw, unless otherwise required by law.
